And erm… we like it! Soooo damn catchy.

Shoreditch House for WIRED; Yemi and the LiteSwitch team were there to witness the wonder of Will Heards incredible voice and songwriting talents.  Crazy that he’s just 20 years old and all set to take the music industry by storm. 

He’s a great story teller with an undeniably beautiful voice - which to be honest was actually a real surprise. Looking at him, I did not expect that depth of tone! I love it when music does that!

Will brings Blues, Funk and Soul together with a wonderful simplicity - and I gurantee you’ll be humming his tunes in a weeks time! 

Ladies and get’s remember where you saw him first -  Will Heard…. 

Yemi and the LiteSwitch team headed off to WIRED in Shoreditch House to meet a guy with crazy song writing skills and a simply beautiful voice… Daley.

A very humble gent originally from Manchester, he recently wrote and sang one of The Gorillaz  hits “Doncamatic.” - Pairing his songwriting abilities with that of the mighty Damon Albarn.

His sound is firmly rooted in soul, pop and R&B and he’s currently in the process of penning his first album, which is un-titled.  So…. if you have any suggestions let him know!

Back to WIRED held in the exclusive Shoreditch House - this time Yemi and the LiteSwitch team meet the simply amazing Cleo Sol. 

Just 20 years old and one of 8 children from a very musical family, you can really feel her understanding of music. She was actually discovered on MySpace by famed UK producer Davinche and has worked with ground breaking acts like Tinie Tempah, Roll Deep and Wretch 32.

 ”LoveBass” is the heavily charged debut single from Cleo Sol that looks set to take over DJ sets everywhere…major! (FYI: You can download it for FREE on her FB!) Cleo Sol really does have the voice, talent and ability of a star.

In a quick, yet revealing chat with Yemi she talks influences, family and motivation. You’re gonna LOVE her!

Every once in a while you meet someone that is so striking and impressive, that it barely seems possible.

Today, was one of those days. 

May Yemi and the LiteSwitch team introduce you to Viktoria Modesta, an international icon of the underground scene.

A model and cover girl multiple times over of magazines like Bizarre and Skin Two. She’s a muse for a number of major photographers like James Stroud. And the face of huge fetish brand Torture Garden; as well as a brilliant song writer with a simply beautiful voice. 

In 2007 after many years of complications Viktoria underwent a leg amputation. Now her physicality really challenges the modern perception of altered beauty.  And as a result of her work and attitude she has become an inspiration to thousands. 

AND we haven’t even got to her flat yet! Without question the most incredible flat we have visited so far!  Man.. we are GOOD to you!

Layla and the LiteSwitch team raid the home of musical mavericks - Stages of Dan! 

A band Steve Lemacq from BBC Radio named his unsigned band of the week.  They’re a London based power trio made up of Chris Aliano, Chris’Big Chris’ Bryant and Chris Davidson. They play rock n’ roll music inspired by people named…erm…Chris.

They’ll be dirty washing couch medicine and delicious tunes!

This week the LiteSwitch team caught up with classical band Blake in their lush West London town house. No strangers to success this lot… their 1st album went straight to No 1 in the classical album charts selling over 100,00 copies in under 3 weeks! Swiftly followed by a Classical Brit Award for “Album of The Year” - it would seem they have arrived! 

They mix eclectic classics with pop songs and rich harmonies, and are really something special to see live. In our exclusive interview Layla gets them talking about those Royal Wedding rumours, songwriting and why Will Smith was nearly the new member!
